Staff members from McGee, Slade and Roosevelt schools in Connecticut are awarded the Hartford Courant's Tapestry Award.  This award is given annually to local residents who have worked to promote and encourage diversity. Publisher, Marty Petty, presented the award to over 30 teachers and administrators at the three school for their work on the project.
