National Physical Education Day Walk

Project A.C.E.S., which stands for All Children Exercising Simultaneously, is an event that encourages children to lead active healthy lives, and give, you, the educator, the opportunity to be positive role models to promote fitness. On May 1, 2002, National Physical Education Day, at 10:00 a.m., millions of school children will stop to exercise simultaneously to demonstrate an awareness and appreciation for physical activity. With physical inactivity being one of the leading risk factors for premature death it behooves us to model wellness.
