Catherine M. McGee Middle School encourages children to grow and learn in an atmosphere of responsibility and respect. To accomplish this mission, we believe our commitment as a rigorous academic community includes: helping children to become educated, productive citizens in a diverse society and technologically changing world providing a safe, caring, and challenging school environment that helps children develop a commitment to life-long learning creating an environment that fosters intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth for all students and recognizes their unique developmental needs. Catherine M. McGee Middle School serves a community of about 750 students in grades six through eight. We are located in the heart of Connecticut.

McGee Plans to Reopen on Thursday, March 18, for Students

McGee closed early on Friday, March 12, due to concerns about  indoor air quality.  Air samples are being collected on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from all areas of the building including all classrooms.  Test results will not be available until late on Tuesday.

GOOD MORNING: Today is Day 4. The rotation today is Morning Meeting, D, A, TEST TIME, F, C, G, AND H.  
        
Attention Board Game Club Members:  We will meet after school in the library classroom.

The Court Jesters are coming on March 22nd to Berlin High to play basketball against our teachers, staff and local policemen.  The cost is $7.00 for advanced tickets and $8.00 at the door.  Tickets are available in the office and all the elementary schools.  This is an exciting evening.  Don’t miss out on this!
